3 essential components of permanent weight loss

If you want to achieve permanent weight loss then you need to get out of the 'dieting' mentality.

In short, dieting will never be sufficient if you want to lose weight for good. Now, don't get me wrong - it will be an effective solution for short term weight loss, but it will never be enough to help you lose weight for good. In order to achieve the benefits of long term, permanent weight loss, there are 3 crucial things that you need to do:

1)Mind-set is the foundation of everything

Most people who go on diets will have developed the wrong 'wiring' to lose weight for good. Unfortunately, it's that simple.

Your subconscious mind-set is far more important than you know. In fact, it may well be the most important foundation block of all. Forget everything about nutrition, exercise, dieting and the like...if you don't have the right mind-set from the start, nothing will fall into place for long.

If you don't perform the right actions to achieve a weight loss result consistently then you're only going to rebound once again. For permanent weight loss, you need to ensure that your mind-set is tuned in properly.

2)Detoxing is essential

Another thing that most people don't realise is that detoxing is also completely essential for long term, permanent weight loss.

Why?

Well, its all comes down to toxicity in the body. Toxins are stored within our fat cells and one of the primary functions of these fat cells is to protect the nervous system and organs within our bodies. Now, the more toxic we are, the more important this protection will be.

As you start losing weight your fat cells get smaller. If you lose fat but not toxins then you begin to become more toxic, with a higher concentration of toxicity in your shrinking fat cells. This can be dangerous for the protection of your organs and nervous system...so what does the body do about it?

It goes into fat production and fat storage mode to rebuild your fat stores to protect again this toxicity. This is essentially what causes a lot of rebound weight gain.

The answer: make sure your detox regularly and you'll find it much easier to both lose weight quickly and keep it off for good.

3) Support is a crucial element of success

Anyone who wants to lose weight and keep it off needs support. Its as simple as that.

If you find yourself in a position where you're surrounded by negative influences then this is only going to derail your progress. This is going to make is hard for your to develop a successful weight loss mind-set, detox effectively, exercise on a regular basis, stick with a diet, and so on.

Having the support of people around you and people who can help guide you is important, nay crucial, to your long term success. In fact, if you can get a professional coach on board in some capacity as a guiding and supporting presence this is going to give you the best position chance of achieving a result over the long term.

If you focus your attention on these 3 things then everything else will fall into place. So don't overload yourself with different nutrition plans, diets, exercise programmes and the like. These things are naturally attached to the above if you get these foundation pieces in position.
